Customer Instructions

Instructions on setting the time and chime

1)  Connect the speaker to the movement

2)  Turn hands forward until you hear a faint click sound. 
      Install hands at 5:00.  

Never turn the hands backwards.

3)  Insert the “C” cell batteries (+) end of the battery downward.

4)  Press the gray “Reset” button on the back of the movement resetting
     the electronic strike to 5:00 a.m.

5)  Rotate hands to 6:00 and note that it strikes 6 times.

6)  Advance the hands to the correct time.

7)  Choose the melody. (4X4 Westminster, 4X4 Ave Maria, Westminster, Bim Bam, or Gong).  NOTE: In the “4X4” mode, it will chime on the quarter hour as well as on the hour.

8)  The movement may take a complete hour to “Correct” itself after the time set knob is turned to the correct hour.

9)  Auto-Night shut off set the “Sound” switch to “PM 11:00-a.m. Night off”.  For 24 hr striking move the switch to the “24hr mode”.

10)  The “Monitor” button is used to demonstrate/test the chime.

11)  The “Set” button is used to advance the “Strike” (One) hour.    Note: This will not move the hands.
